The Edit menu is not used in Scan except for the support of desk accessories. If a desk accessory is not active, this menu will be disabled. When a desk accessory is active, the Edit menu and File menu will be enabled, and all other Scan menus will be disabled. The usual command keys are supported for this menu when it is active.
